Compost Paros is a social business project initiated by Jan Pannenbäcker with the support of many others.

Compost Paros aims to facilitate a composting site on the Greek island of Paros. Compost can be a key to several challenging situations on Paros and many other regions on earth. In particular composting allows to reduce the amount of waste in landfill dramatically and to use the waste as a resource to produce fertile compost. The compost can be used as a natural fertilizer in order to improve soil quality and to avoid erosion in the long run.
