Then the Social Impact Weekend is perfect for you! Generate your own ideas, develop projects and try out being a Social Entrepreneur in the interactive workshops of Social Impact Awards!

The Social Impact Weekend Vienna consists of of three workshops, which you can attend all in a row or individually. If you already have a project, but want to work on it, you can choose, for example, what is interesting and exciting for you!

In the first workshop Ideas for Change you will find your idea using some creative tools. In the second Workshop Creating Impact you are working on the impact you want to achieve with your project and in the third workshop Social Business Lab you will create a concept for your project and you can also directly prepare your submission to the Social Impact Award.

Ideas for Change

Are you curious about new things? Do you want to be creative with your peers? You always wanted to become active, but you do not know exactly how? You want to set up your own project, but do not have the right idea yet? You are interested in Social Entrepreneurship, but you do not know exactly what that is?

The Workshop Ideas for Change addresses all this! Here you go through an interactive process with the other participants and develop ideas for social projects. You will also learn what social entrepreneurship is all about and what the Social Impact Award exactly is.

Creating Impact

You want to continue working on your idea? You want to take your idea to the next level? You want to understand which approaches are there to tackle the problems of our society? Are you interested in how existing social enterprises actually change the world? The term “theory of change” still does not mean anything to you?

At the workshop Creating Impact continue to work on your project idea and on the most important part: the impact of your project! You will apply several tools to improve your project.

Social Business Lab

You want to advance your project? You’re slowly losing track of what your project includes  and what you need it for? You do not know on which parts to pay attention in your project? You want to identify blind spots in your project?

In the workshop Social Business Lab you can turn your idea into a concrete concept and prepare the submission to SIA! You’ll receive the Impact Canvas of the Social Impact Award with guiding questions and you’ll be able to prepare the first steps of your submission.
