Leila Wien brings life into the concepts of collaborative consumption and commons. A power drill, a camping tent or a tennis racket – items we usually have at home but rarely use. This demands a lot of money, space at home and plenty of scarce natural resources. On a non-profit principle, Leila provides a store where such items can be brought into and be used in a collective way – a library of things. Our vision is to connect people, establish a community and convey the joy of a sustainable lifestyle. Intended as a prototype in Vienna, the concept of Sharing Shops is ready to be spread.
