Failstunde

Wir alle wollen Fehler vermeiden. Doch in der Failstunde lernen Schülerinnen und Schüler, Fehler als Chance zu sehen und die Angst vor Neuem zu verlieren. Durch Improworkshops und Theaterpädagogik sollen Fehler aktiv herbeigeführt werden. So wollen wir Innovation, Kreativität und Resilienz fördern. In der Failstunde feiern wir Fehler!

We all want to avoid making mistakes! With Failstunde, students learn to see their fails as chances and stop being afraid of trying something new. In our theatre and improvisation workshops they actively make mistakes and learn to enjoy them. That’s how we want to encourage innovation, creativity and resilience. The Failstunde celebrates mistakes!

PHÖNIX - Training For Life

Phönix ist ein gemeinnütziger Verein zur Vermittlung von Sport an Menschen in Haft. Das Ziel ist es Menschen dabei zu unterstützen, ihren Platz in der Gesellschaft zu finden.

Phönix is a Social Impact Enterprise for the facilitation of sports for people in prison. The goal is to help people find their place in society through movement and sport.

Vienna Hobby Lobby

Jugendliche aus sozial benachteiligten Familien haben keinen Zugang zu einem ausgeglichenen und sinnvollen Freizeitprogramm​, ​da das bestehende Angebot sehr teuer ist. Das trifft vor allem die 300.000 armutsgefährdeten Jugendlichen in Österreich. Freizeitgestaltung darf in unserer Gesellschaft kein Privileg sein. Wir, die Vienna Hobby Lobby bieten deshalb kostenlose Freizeitkurse an, die soziale Kompetenzen aufbauen. Wir wollen den Jugendlichen ermöglichen, ihre Potenziale zu entdecken. Hilf uns dabei, die Horizonte der Jugendlichen zu erweitern!

Austrian children from low-income households often suffer from boredom in the afternoons and do not have the financial means to attend after-school clubs. We, the Vienna Hobby Lobby, offer a diverse and creative course program. Our extracurricular courses are structured around the interests and strengths of our children. We have already built a course-program for 120 kids. Help us to reach more kids to broaden their horizons.

Die staatlich finanzierte unabhängige Rechtsberatung im Flüchtlingsbereich steht vor dem Aus. Wir glauben an die Menschenrechte und wollen zu ihrer qualitativen Durchsetzung tatkräftig beitragen. Wir von frida sind ein motiviertes Team aus Juristen und Juristinnen sowie Dolmetschenden, wir helfen und beraten Geflüchtete und Migrant*innen kostenlos.

Independant legal consultation, financed by the state, is ending. We believe in human rights and we want to contribute to their effective enforcement. We at frida are a motivated team of jurists and translators, we help and consult refugees and migrants cost free.

Vienna Legal Literacy Project

The Vienna Legal Literacy Project is a non-profit student-run organisation promoting ‚legal literacy‘. Our goal is to introduce young people to basic legal concepts. We realize this goal by recruiting law students who are willing to hold workshops on various legal topics in high schools. Topics feature issues that are highly relevant for teenagers, such as ‚Cybermobbing‘, ‚Migration Law‘, ‚Internet and IP Law (Filesharing, Streaming)‘ in order to sparken their interest in the law. With the help of our workshops, our students learn to understand legal issues, and when and where to seek counsel.

Institute of applied Corruption – The Institute of applied Corruption wants to document, inform and help people understand corruption. Our main services are fun educational tours through Vienna showing places of recent cases of corruption. Opening and discussing the topic with a wide public, we want to increase the pressure on corrupt people and politicians to do something against it. Our vision is a society that knows the rules of corruption and therefore refuses to play with them.

FOOTPRINT is a non-governmental organization (NGO) headquartered in Vienna, which fights against the drastic human rights violation of trafficking in women and supports victims of trafficking in women in various ways. We work on the principle of informing all affected women about their rights and opportunities and to offer them the best possible options for improving their living situations. FOOTPRINT offers a broad range of services for trafficked women: emotional areas of retreat, counseling and care options, alternative therapy options, training and workout courses, and support for reintegration into society.
